Project description
The derrick skidding system is used to move a derrick to a designated position on the ground and can be used repeatedly.
The system developed by TorcStark achieves the following:
- Fast skidding on soft ground surfaces.
- Modular track sections for easy assembly and disassembly.
- Alternating track use, minimizing the total number of tracks required.
- Lateral and longitudinal skidding of the drilling platform without additional auxiliary equipment.
- Full derrick relocation without disassembly.
- Tracks capable of moving a derrick weighing up to 800 tons to a designated position in a single operation.
